Speaker: Alistair Thomson
Alistair grew up in Mosgiel and was educated at Taieri High School, before going on to Otago University where he completed a Law Degree.
He then worked in Banking and Funds Management in Kuwait, Switzerland London and Australia before returning to NZ where he completed his career working for Milford Asset Management.
He and Mary moved to Bannockburn in 2014 and have never been happier. They share the property with 58 rabbits, 36 Quail and the occasional feral cat.
His father Gordy worked for a NZ Oil company for some 43 Years. He travelled around Central Otago looking after farmers and Industrial customers.
The book covers his time with his first company car, a Vauxhall Victor and some of the humorous events he encountered while on the road.
The 1960s could be wild and this tome is written in a pre ‘woke’ style to reflect what actually went down.
