Join us to grow your confidence in everyday Te Reo Māori, connect with others, and enjoy learning in a friendly, supportive environment.

June: 8, 15, 22, 29
Session Structure
Each session is facilitated by Lucy, with ākonga-led learning:
Karakia Timatanga – Begin with a simple karakia to open the space with intention and respect.
Whakawhanaungatanga – Warm introductions and check-ins to build connections and create a safe space.
Waiata – Group singing to build confidence in pronunciation, rhythm, and tikanga.
Pepeha Practice – Guided support to say and understand personal pepeha.
Kōrero in Pairs/Groups – Use prompts and visual supports to encourage everyday conversational reo.
Kupu Games & Fun Activities – Build vocabulary through games, movement, and shared laughter.
Kai & Informal Kōrero – Share food and stories; continue learning in a relaxed setting.
Karakia Whakamutunga – Close with a karakia to reflect, give thanks, and finish together.
