Topic: Spade Toothed Whale
Kane Fleury is the Team Lead of Natural Science and Curator at Tūhura Otago Museum. He has interests in everything from palaeobiology through to marine mammals. He is a generalist working across diverse taxa.
More recently he has been working the rarest mammal in the world so come along for a discussion about beaked whales. What they are, what they do, which will provide some context around why the spade-toothed beaked whale project was so important.
