- Learn how to use SCAMS to detect scams. Group examples and kōrero. Activity: Match scam messages to red flags.
- Real-World Scam Examples & Practice - Review two real scam examples (from the Netsafe booklet).
- Group discussion: What would you do if this happened to you?
- What to Do If You Suspect a Scam
- Learn how to stop the scam safely: what not to click, say or send
- Where to go for help: Netsafe, your bank, whānau. Activity: Scam response checklist.
- Reflection & Sharing: What’s one tip you’ll use to stay scam-smart? What would you share with a friend or whānau member? Wrap-up and resource list.
